Primers

My father has been dead for 22 years, and we found some handloads in a closet. These loads are 30-06 Sprg. loaded in military brass. The primer cups are convex where the fireing pin strikes. I was thinking they may be RWS primers. Does any one know what brand name primers these might be<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle> Thanks in advance.

RE: Primers

I have a few pieces of old military brass that still have the original primers from when it was made .That sounds like what you are describing if they are brass primers .They used to sell it with the bullets pulled and it could be reloaded ,but I haven't seen any of that in a long time. The headstamps on the ones I have run 1918 to 1928 .
