noticed in one of your posts that when loading for your .44mag that the accuracy was better with hotter loads. just wondered what model gun you had. i have a ruger super redhawk and i find that the hotter the load....the better it likes them. i can only guess that it is due to the slow rate of twist. just curious.[8D]

Depends on the load. H110 likes to be ran hot. But not too hot. I get best accuracy little below max. Unique seems to run most accurate with 10.5, but I can go up to almost 12gr of Unique with 240gr laserscast.

I shoot a Mod27 5" barrel 44. But have had super redhawks. Very accurate.

Model 27 is an "N" frame 357 mag.... Did you mean model 29?
