The only thingI load formy 243 win's and 6MM Rems is the 85 gr Barnes TSX bullets with RL-19 powder . I have tried most all the differentbrands of bullets and the Barnes is whatI ended up with . Accuracy is good , penetration is great and very little blood shot meat which isthe main reasonI startedusing them .

My all around load is a 95gr Nosler Ballistic-Tip over a stout load of Varget. Accuracy is excelent and itperforms well on coyotes and deer
I would agree. The heavier the better in my opinion. I like to push the heaviest bullet i can efficently!

Rammer -

can you advise me of what you power / charge like to push the 70 Blitz kings with? Have you any any good groups using IMR 4350?

Also, I am looking for range in over-all case lenght for this load. I'm using new WIn. cases in a new Savage Mod. 11.

RE: Good all around 243 load

I've shot a ton of whitetails (well, at least 15 or so) with the .243 using the old 100 grain Hornady Interlock bullets, CCI 200 primers and 40.5 gr of IMR4350. All but one of these deer dropped like a rock. And this load was the most accurate out of my old Savage 110. Of course, there are a lot more different powders and bullets out now then when I used that rifle 35 years ago.
