I need a load for M1 Grand
 
looking for a target/plinking load and maybe fill a doe tag or two. i have a can of 4350 and 4064 that i would like to use but am open to suggestions.

From when I shot service rifle competition :

46.5g IMR 4895 under a sierra 168gr BTHP

If ya want accuracy IMO, I'd stick w/ the 165gr. - 172gr. projectiles moving between 2600fps - 2650fps

4064 is EXCELLENT in the M1. My M1 match load consists of 47 grains of IMR 4064 and the Sierra 168-grain MatchKing bullet in G.I. brass. For deer hunting, I substitute the Sierra 165-grain hollowpoint boattail bullet. These are OK for plinking too, as they are plenty accurate also, and usually don't cost quite as much as the match bullets.
