Default RE: Anyone ever try BL-C2 in .223 loads?

Yes! I have a Rem. 700 in .223 and have used BLC2 with both 40 gr and 50 gr bullets. Though I can get higher velocity wth H335 I get better accuracy with BLC2. I have been using surplus powder. I have been shooting pairie dogs for years and love either moly coated 40 gr. V Max bullets using H335 or moly coated 50 gr V Max using BLC2. The later is more accurate. I can only suggest you work up a good load using good bullets and BLC2. There will be some who will tell you moly coating isn't a good thing, but after several thousand rounds down range and still shooting very tight groups it is hard to argue against. I wish you well in your persuit of accuracy and velocity.
