Best powder for 44 mag

friend of mine say AA#9... What are your favorites...

I'll be shooting a lighter load with Hornady 240gr XTP

Never loaded down a 240xtp load, 24.0gr ofH110 was most accurate in my S&W when Iused to shoot all the time. Unique with lead...too much cleaning... but shot good as far as light loads were concerned

I have found HS-6 to be a great accurate, good metering, powder for mid range loads on the 44 mag. Other than that I use 10gr unique for light loads with 240gr laser cast semiwadcutters. For hunting, I use 24gr of H110 with 240gr XTP.

I prefer to use my own hard cast bullets and for Heavy loads "H110",for Light loads "Unique".

imr 4227 with the 300 grain xtp-s. i use to shoot the 240-s. but to me not much difference in recoil . nicer stopping power. works on wild boar for sure.

H110 has been working well for me. I have used up to 23gr. of the stuff with good success so far.

H110, and Win. 296. Some folks say Littlegun works well, but I have not used it. Good luck.

VV N110is about all I use anymore

maybe Blue Dot or N350 if I'm loading "light" (define light when you're still kicking a 240 gr bullet downrange)
