RE: Accelerators

I reckon there ain't much rifling groovesleft to analyzeon a 50 gr hollowpoint going out the barrel at 3800fps either; once it hits anything they tend to all but vaporize. They dont seem too concerned about shotgun slugs, do they?

i figure you can get better accuracy just buy using a reel light bullet.i heard those accelerators are very expensive and unaccurate.

You can get the sabots for .308 and other cart. as well through http://eabco.comthey also sell the seating dies and everything you need to load them. I'm interested in giving them a try as well but I wonder if it would damage your barrel or not. I'm assuming that it would be okay except for the plastic fouling. Anyone got any expierence with that?
