Yes, most good single stage presses will handle the large rifle cases. Do your research. Get catalogs from the manufacturers and visit the websites. Take the advice that has been posted here and find one that will do what you want it to. I think Lee & RCBS both have single stage presses that will handle the .416Rigby that you mentioned.

Most if not all reloading presses will handle all the cartridges. But the one thing that has not been memtioned is you will need to purchase a die set for each and every cartridge you will be loading. And the range you are talking about will set you back a bunch of bucks. But as most the others have said, start with one, study and learn your A,B,C's. When you finally getting familiar with one, then go on. And, then there is the firearm to use these reloads in. And on, and on, etc.

RE: Getting in the game

Right now I'm only planning to buy .30-06 and .44 mag dies, and I'm getting the rest of the stuff for X-mas, so I'm not going to be the one spending a ton of cash at the moment at least. I'll probably buy my .308 dies within a year though too, but I don't use my .416 much, and .45 acp and 7.62x39mm are pretty cheap rounds factory anyway, I just need the three rounds to get started so far.

Screw the 10 ring, keep them in the zero!!!
