I think you'll notice a trend that most will have their favorites. When deciding on powder I like to find one that will work in a few of my rifles. If you get a reloading book you'll see the powders that usually give you more velocity with differernt rounds, I tend to lean toward those.

Ive had the best luck with Reloader 15,19 and 22 with most of my rifles. Imr 4064 and 3031 being a close second.

What Kelbro said, however, you did not mention what your objective is....targer shooting? Varmit shooting? Big game? For deer, IMR4064 is 243 heaven (85-100gr bullets). Regards, Rick.

It really depends on what bullet you will be shooting. MyselfI use Reloder 22 for 100 grain Partitions, Varget For 70 grain Ballistic Tips, and H-414 for 55 grain Ballistic tips.

Many recommendations on this thread and it suprises me that the IMR4064 got any hits....let alone three. It's been my go to powder for a number of years. Accurate and fast. Try it, you'll like it...100% on this one! Regards, Rick.
