Well, an experienced reloader will tell you that a good load is the one that is most accurate in your gun which is definately problably not the best one my gun. But I will tell ya what works for me. Thats 54gr of IMR4350, Fed 210 primer and COL of 3.3" Sierra 130 boattail spitzer. Or in another gun I got, Winchester 70 270Win, it likes 47gr of IMR4064, Fed 210 primer, and 3.35" COL, 130gr nosler bullistic tip.

Actually that load shoots great in mine, and two other buddies model 70 270wins. The 4350 that is. So now I got people begging me to load there ammo. Spent all week loading other peoples ammo still have to load me some rounds for next week. But they are good buddies.

While there is absolutely nothing wrong with usaing a 150 grain in the .270 for all game, I found that I didn't need the 150 for shooting in the lower 48 after spending three years in Alaska with a .270. So, I went to the 130 Nosler Partition for everything down here, but for just deer and antelope shooting, the 130 grain Ballistic Tip would be very good also. My best 130-grain load uses 55.5 grains of IMR 4350 in WW cases....
