RE: Digital Scales

I still have the RCBS digital scale, but I stopped using it because Id weigh up a charge and then lift it and set it back down and it would always be different. I started using the beam scale that came with my kit (505 i think) and havnt had any problems.

RE: Digital Scales

MOSSY,

Here is how I use mine now. I set the digital scale a few tenths below my desired charge. Run the chargemaster, dump the charge in the balance beam. I am usually a couple tenths off. I take the chargemaster pan, tap the bottom of the dump till a couple granulars come out, dump or shake a couple in the balance pan..(i don't havea trickler).I usually have to do this once maybe twice. Fill the case, reset the pan and hit dispense, seat the bullet and I am back to the beginning. LIke I said...it is a spendy powder dump....but very accurate for a powder dump :)
