Barnes load data?

Question: Why doesn't Barnes put any load data in there bulletboxes?
I bought Honandy and they had it, so did Spear. So whats up with Barnes?

Barnes isn't alone.I haven't seen load data with sierra or nosler bullets either.Besides, since one bullet can be used in various cartridges, how much paper do you expect them to fitin a box of bullets?Say for .308" bullets,do you expect them to list a variety of loads with various powdersfor all cartridges using .308" bullets?

RE: Barnes load data?

I can understand the 308 and some others but when i purchased the Speer and the Nosler in 338 it was in there for 338 Win. Then if you cross referenced it in there manual itwas the most accurate powders tested. On another note why don't these manufactures list there load data on there web sites? I mean all to sell a book? The info theygot testing the bullets should be listed without purchasing it.Itkind of sounds like this: I just got a set of ultra high performance tires but they don'tperformlike they should because i didn't pay for manufactures tire pressure recommendations?

I have a better idea! When you buy a box why don't they give you a 30 day login (suscription)to the data on theirsite. So charge me 50 cents more a box.

So did they include data for the 338-06 ,338 ultramag,340wby and 338x378 as well?

Be aware that uncoatedbarnes xbullets and the tsxdevelop more pressure than nosler bullets with the same powder charge.

I use the same starting loads, but be aware that you will probably end up with a max load2 or three grains less for the tsx than for a nosler bullet.

What is the most accurate powder tested?
The so called accurate powder simply means that this was the powder that was the most accurate in the gun that they used to test their loads. It in no way means that this powder will be the most accurate in your rifle. In fact inthe majority of cases it was not the most accurate powder in my guns.
