Who loads for 45cal ACP
 

Who can tell me what is the max weight solid bullit and hottest charge for the 45 auto? What results would it have over factory load 230gr?

I load for my .45's, but not to the max. I'm loading 200 grain semi wadcutters, with 4.5 grains of 700x. That gets me to about 875 fps out of my P14-45's. Enough to make major in IPSC with a little room to spare.

speers load book has some loads using a 260 grain bullet pushing around 700 fps. but my personal loads consist of 200 grain berry's plated SWC's over 5.7 grains of Green dot which gives me about 820 fps from my compact and about 850 fps from my full size 45's
