how many firearms do you reload for

Just wondering how many firearms everyone reloads for and what they are.

Too many. I currently load for6 pistols, and about 13 rifles. I load for a few people, but thats going to stop. I learned my lesson. One friend actually blamed my reloads last year on why the bullet didn't perform well. He shot a deer at 20 yards in the shoulder with 130gr gamekings kickin at 3000fps with a 270win and it ran for 150 yards.

Recently got me a 460SW I am pretty excited about loading for. A few of them I think I have made the decision to stop loading for. One is the 30-30win. I just use the gun to practice my offhand shots, and let the wife shoot. The other is 204ruger. I am getting .7MOA accuracy with factory ammo and I need one gun I know is zero'd so when I need to shoot something long range I can.

I am terrible tinkerer. Once I find a load a gun likes, I don't stop, I find another load, and another. So rarely is too many of my guns zero'd. I zero them before going on a trip, and load up two box's of ammo for it. I just get bored easy and then trade and start this cycle all over again.

I think at 20 yards if it was a buck I would have necked it, if it were a doe well you know.... but we dont talk about that shot on this forum;).

RE: how many firearms do you reload for

my hunting/reloading partner loads for a few friends but I load for my 30-06 and wifes 30-30 along with my dads 308.
I only do basic loads for the 30-30 and 308 as they don't care too much about performance. The 308 gets nosler 180gr Ballistic tip and the 30-30 gets 150gr bullet.
I have played a bit with my 06' but find the Horandy 150gr IB works well. I do have a few barnes 180 gr loaded up for it but only if i get a moose license or go bear hunting.
I am considering trying 130gr for deer.
I don't load for friends as they only complain and make fun of what they call home made bullets, they don't trust them.

Yea, its not worth it. I quit after last year.

1. They really have no concept of how much time costs.
2. Liability
3. If they loose an moose or deer, guess who they are going to blame?

My numbers are the same as Bigcountry's. I really only load for one other person but will help others who are wanting to learn. I too normally find the one load that shoots and performs well in each of my firearms and stick with that particular loading. About the only ones I experiment around with are the 308 and the 30-06. Even my handgun loads are normally one specific load for each of them.

I intend on reloading for all my center fire rifles, just haven’t had the time for two of them. I’m really interested developing loads for my 222 & 44 Mag...

6 rifles, no handguns. I own a couple of handguns, but they don't interest me much.
