Lee Vrs RCBS

Which would be better ?

Lee is cheaper.

RCBS is more.

I am talking about a multy stage reloader.

Cheaper isn't always better.

What do you think ?

Thank You

can't really say for a multi stage set up, that being said on a single stage and dies RCBS are really hard to beat I've got a couple of sets of LEE dies and they are ok but I don't think they are as good as RCBS

If I had to pick between the two, I'd go RCBS...

personally, I use a Lyman..

Not sure what you mean by "multi stage reloader". If you mean a progressive press, forget Lee and RCBS and buy a Dillon.
If you mean a turret press, the RCBS will probably last for the rest of your life. The Lee will not, but will load thousands and thousands of rounds before wearing out, given decent care. How much are you planning to load?

Both will get the job done.

RCBS is of higher quality. Good luck.

They both have their place.
For high volume stuff that I reload like 30-06, .308 or .45 auuto I prefer Rcbs if only because its easier to set up and hass a more solid feel to it. For stuff I relod less more or less for a hobby like .303 brit or 8mm mauser, I prefer the Lee because its much cheaper and is plenty adequate for the job. I would take the Lee collet neck sizer over the RCBS necksizer any day however.

My vote is for RCBS. I have both a turret and single prees, and I have enjoyed the craftmanship, part availabilty, ease, and reliability of the products. I never have had a dye problem, nor seating a bullet etc. etc. From loading my .308 and .338, to reloading my auto pistols, the RCBS products live up my standards.

Of the two you mentioned, I'd go with the RCBS. RCBS quality is the best and will last a lifetime and then some. I use an RCBS Rockchucker single stage and have loaded probably tens of thousands of rounds and it's still like new. Several years ago, I bought a Lyman T-Turret mostly for ease of handloading handgun ammo. I've found it to be a very high quality, wellmadepress and it has performed great. I've tried Lee presses in the past, but will never own one. Just my $.02 worth

I dont know about the Multi stage presses but with the single press I saw my bud pull a handle right off a Lee single stage press before I got into reloading. Needless to say I didnt go with Lee. I bought the Rcbs R-chucker and like everyone else have had no probs with it.
