4064 FOR 300 WSM ?
Wondering if anyone has ever worked up a load using 4064 for the 300 wsm?Can't find any info for using 4064.I also use imr 4350 with good results,just wondering if I can use the 4064.Thanks

Sure you can, don't expect much performance. Stay with RL19, IMR4350

Sierra has load data using IMR 4064 for the 300WSM in thelighter bullets 110 to 150gr. Steve's pages has data for just about any thing you need.

ALSO AM WONDERING IF I CAN USE REGULAR WLR PRIMERS FOR MY LOADS,OR IF I SHOULD GO UP TO THE WLRM PRIMERS?I WILL BE RELOADING THE 300 WSM IN 165 & 180 GR.HORNADY INTERBOND. |

All data from Sierra lists Mag primers. I use Fed 215 and WLRM in my 300WSM.

I have used standard primers in my 300RUM before. All it should do is lower the pressure. Might help or hurt accuracy. I know it helped my accuracy with 150gr 300RUM IMR4350 combos.

THANKS AGAIN,ALWAYS CAN COUNT ON SOMEBODY I HERE TO HAVE THE ANSWERS.CAN'T SEEM TO FIND ANY DATA ON USING THE STANDARD PRIMERS,BUT SINCE I HAVE THEM I'M GOING TO WORK UP A FEW LOADS AND TRY THEM.

I've been getting good results using H4831sc in my 270 wsm. I imagine it would work well with the 300 as well.
