Guys, no offense but you can't compare regular nosler, hornady, etc data for barnes, or TBBC or even failsafes. I highly suggest a barnes manual. Just my 2 cents.

There is no data in the Barnes manual for the tsx.

Don't worry my 300 is now broke, it's a 1 year old remington 700 LSS and now the gun fires when you take it off safety. Thought they fixed this problem, actually I had a fireing pin punch through a primer, now it fires when the safety is put on fire.

If you want barnes load sheet for the 270wsm,7saum,or7wsm you can go to http://www.shortmags.org/shortmags/
click on load data thats where I got it for the 270wsm,but they didn't have one for the 300wsm.

True Stubble, but Barnes has made it known pretty publicly you can probably go 2gr over book.
For instance, they recommend (hodgedon) recommends 80-83gr of H1000 for 200gr XFB. You start with Nosler recommended start with a 200gr Partition and your well over max already. See what I am saying?
I have been working with barnes for quite sometime and its a totally different deal.
But it seems to work for you.

Barnes says to use the X bullet recipes in the Barnes manual and not to start with a max loadfor loading TSX bullets. It is possible to go over ,but to watch for pressure signs . Most of my loading worked out at max or one grain over .I load the TSX for four different calibers .

I have the same problems with how-much for my 270 using 140 TSX and IMR4350. I called Barnes and they said to go with 49 to 53 gr, working up in .5 gr increment. For 30-06 and above they said I could go 1 or 2 grains over Xbullets. Below 30-06 you should not go that strong. I started out with 52.5 grains and it was a mild load. Then I went to 53 and I could tell the difference. Going to try 53.5 gr next. But that will probably all I will go.
