RE: V-max
Out of my Savage 112 heavy in 223, I shot a ground hog at about 200 yds using 27.5 gr of w748 for around 3325 fps. Results were just devastation, I couldn't believe it, spray of red and one dead gh. Could probably stoke the load a little more but that's the most accurate for my gun. Should be able to bump it some with moly.

RE: V-max
Those bullets are AWSOME. I use them in my custom Interarms Mini MKX mauser chambered for the 223 Rem. I can get sub 1/2min groups at 200 yds. I shot a ground hog this summer at 330yds and the balistics were exelent for a 223. My load is 25grns of IMR 4064, CCI BR4 primers and .224 v-max bullets. My bullets are seated .008" off the lands. Give those bullets a try, you wont be disapointed.

RE: V-max
excellemt bullet on par with Nosler btip, however, most of my varmint rifles tend to group, on average, a little better with the Noslers.
