Sounds like good advice to me. I didnt think about the possibility of the loads acting differently in my rifle. What would you think, Like 10 of each?

What I like to do is start with 20 rounds of each bullet powder combination. Loading 4 rounds of equally spaced powder levels between the manual's minimum and maximums. Then I shoot a 3 shot group of each load, with a spare round in case I call a flyer. Comparing the groups I chose the best and start to vary the bullet seating depth to see if I can improve the accuracy. A word of warning here, do not load bullets so shallow that they touch the lands in the barrel, that can change the pressure enough to cause trouble.

Yeah, my co-worker reolads and says that OAL is of utmost importance. I am loading some tonight and I am using the deburring tool that came with the kit and the primer cleaner that came with it as well. The only thing wierd is the case lube that came with it. It feels like it is too light and airy to really do anything, but nothing jammes in the re-sizing die. I loaded one up last night to get his opinion and he says that if I re-size it right I probably dont need to crimp it. The one I crimped was way too deep. Good thing I only made one! I am gonna do a variety tonight and tomorow. EJ

That thick heavy lube we used to use with a stamp pad didn't work any better'n one of the non petroeum sprays available today. Just stay away from WD 40 and you'll be ok.
