Cream rises to the top!
I have hunted over a lot of different e-callers over the last 20years, and FoxPro callers have earned the top spot in my book, the ONLY spot in fact.
The innovation, sound quality, product quality, and customer service can't be beat by any other caller on the market. I can honestly say I have been happier with a $200 FoxPro spitfire, and now with it's protege, the Wildfire, than I was with a Johnny Stewart that ran twice the price (although JS sounds are top notch, the callers left me wanting more. The new shockwave, while pricey, is the most amazing coyote killing tool I have ever had the pleasure to hunt with. The shockwave really is the biggest thing to hit predator calling since the AR-15! Unparalleled versatility, control over your sounds and sets like never before, volume for miles, data-logging (an industry first!), let alone foxpro's fantastic sound repertoire and customer service, the shockwave is the wave of the future for dedicated predator callers. You will get spoiled by a FoxPro, at any price point. |

+1 .........and why not ?!?! |
Foxpro all the way. I have the wildfire 2. It has been very reliable, great battery life and good sound. Foxpro's customer service is excellent and it's american made. You can't go wrong with these calls.

Fox Pro X4 shockwave :happy0001:

Foxpro. .
|
Foxpro because its the only e caller I have ever used....I've owned two. I like using mouth calls but my skills are lacking and the fp gets it done.
|
Fox pro because it works
|
Foxpro because it works well, US made and if you ever need customer service it does not get any better than their. Will never buy another brand.
|
Fox pro is a reliable electronic caller with great sound quality. The 200$ that you need to spend on it are a good price for it's features.
|
Fox pro. It has great sound, quality, and many calls. Cant go wrong.

Primos Turbo Dogg
Recently purchased a Primos Turbo Dogg. For the price tag ($135) I think its a pretty fair value. The sound is not "tin canny" or hollow, plenty loud, some nice features and lots of downloads available. I have nothing bad to say about the Foxpro Wildfire 2 as two of my hunting buddies have them and they work great. We use them mostly for day calling coon dens.

FoxPro is a good caller but in the northeast woods coyotes hang back and their are callers with far longer reaching remotes that lets the hunter see and kill more coyotes. You will see many eastern hunters who say FoxPro is the best and have yet to call and kill 1 single coyote in the eastern United States. I would like to see some FoxPro furtakers shows killing eastern coyotes.

I'd like to hear your experiences with E-caller remotes with proven longer ranges than the FoxPro FHSS remotes? I've played with a lot of callers and haven't found better range yet that I could say was conclusively better, especially in thick cover. |
Foxpro Hellfire!
|
If we're going by brand alone, it's gotta be FOXPRO. My favorite is the Shockwave (review here). FOXBANG, FOXDATA, and all the other features just blow everything else out of the water.
However, there are plenty of electronic coyote call models from good brands that have served me well. The ICOtec GC300 is a fine caller, as is the Primos Dogg Catcher. Both are good entry level units. |
Other than my home built unit the best I have heard or seen is my friends ICO TEC gc500. The remote we have used out to 260 yards, holds 200 free calls and cost less than $175.00 most places. It is compact battery's life (use good batterys) is very good, screen lights up well at night and easy to read too.
