Clever. Seriously, RR. It would be neat to see pics from your scouting with distance noted in the pictures. I would think you do a bit of scouting and planning to make a shot like that happening. I would enjoy reading about that and seeing your pics. It would definitely be in the spirit of this forum.

Beautiful gun. Hard to even imagine being able to be kill accurate at that distance. Hats off to you if you make your goal. Doubt one could find many 1 mile shots up here in the north country. Too many hills and trees.

This one would work for your longer barrel. They have decent weight to them so balance with a long heavy barrel is ok. They are pretty comfy prone too.
