Clever. Seriously, RR. It would be neat to see pics from your scouting with distance noted in the pictures. I would think you do a bit of scouting and planning to make a shot like that happening. I would enjoy reading about that and seeing your pics. It would definitely be in the spirit of this forum.

will see what I can do once the corn is cut cal, only have a few places where 1 mile is possible, they are now cornfields, they chop them for silage around mid sept. then I can open up to over a mile. have many upgrades to do so the mile shot may not happen this year, need some upgrades before I get my drop chart perfected. have a trip planned October that will require some of my play money, but will keep you updated!

Beautiful gun. Hard to even imagine being able to be kill accurate at that distance. Hats off to you if you make your goal. Doubt one could find many 1 mile shots up here in the north country. Too many hills and trees.

What stock are you wanting to get for it? Don't say a chassis...

well was wanting an MKM bullpup chasis, ugliy as all get out but would keep total length to about 46", but they want too much$$$, around 2 grand for it. so may look at a mcswirly or a manners.

This one would work for your longer barrel. They have decent weight to them so balance with a long heavy barrel is ok. They are pretty comfy prone too.
