Bernie Sanders Heaps Praise on Authoritarian Communist China
Posted by: admin in Politics August 28, 2019

It’s one thing to be painfully naïve about the economic and military threat that Communist China represents to U.S. interests internationally, the way former Vice President Joe Biden has been on the campaign trail. It’s quite another to heap praise upon the regime, as only we could expect from America’s very own Communist, Sen. Bernie Sanders. In remarks that, in any sane world, would represent the end of his presidential aspirations, the so-called democratic socialist had plenty of kind things to say about China, optimistic that the U.S. could move towards a more positive relationship with the country under his leadership.

“China is a country that is moving unfortunately in a more authoritarian way in a number of directions,” Sanders acknowledged in an interview with The Hill. “But what we have to say about China in fairness to China and it’s leadership is if I’m not mistaken they have made more progress in addressing extreme poverty than any country in the history of civilization, so they’ve done a lot of things for their people.”

The U.S., Sanders said, had “hoped that they would move toward a more Democratic form of government.” Unfortunately, he admitted, China was “moving in the opposite direction.”

Well, yeah. Duh. In what Communist/Socialist state have things ever happened any differently? If The Hill’s Krystal Ball was on top of her game, she would have asked Sanders why he wants to bring that abomination of a economic-political system to the United States.

Say what you will about President Trump’s approach to China, but at the very least he recognizes that they are not our allies. He understands that their record of economic deceit has cost the U.S. an untold fortune, and he has done whatever he can to bring Xi Jinping to heel. Will his trade war cost the domestic economy far too much pain in return for too little impact? It’s too early to know for sure, but Trump is at least clear-headed when it comes to China’s threat to U.S. political and economic power.

Sanders, on the other hand, always seems to find some way to show Communist/Socialist authoritarian regimes in the best possible light. When he’s not whooping it up with the Soviets, he’s defending bread lines in countries where Communism has eradicated the economy. When he’s not railing against the U.S. billionaire class, he’s defending the fine work of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. This man’s ideology is deeply disturbing and profoundly dangerous for the future of this country. Both him and his “democratic socialism” need to be resoundingly defeated

Have you met a Democrat that isn't in love with communism? Remember Obama singing their praise?

What's ironic is most of these Dems would never survive in a Communist regime. Communists don't tolerate dissenters and protesters. They just get rid of them.

Bernie is a tired old man whose potus chance was pulled out from under him by the most corrupt political family in history. Talk about election meddling.

They would not fare very well in the "re-education" camps. Survival rates in those things can run kind of low, anyway.
