James Comey Lashes Out at Attorney General Barr for “Sliming” DOJ
Posted by: admin in Politics May 19, 2019

Drawing jeers and mockery from supporters of the president, former FBI Director James Comey lashed out at Attorney General William Barr this weekend, accusing him of destroying the integrity of the Justice Department by…well, simply telling the truth about what the Justice Department did during the 2016 election.

“The AG should stop sliming his own Department,” Comey tweeted. “If there are bad facts, show us, or search for them professionally and then tell us what you found. An AG must act like the leader of the Department of Justice, an organization based on truth. Donald Trump has enough spokespeople.”

The only thing Barr has done is certify the results of the Mueller investigation – no collusion, no obstruction – and get the Mueller report out to the public as quickly and openly as possible. He also suggested to Congress that the FBI spied on the Trump campaign (which they unequivocally did), and opened an investigation into the suspicious origins of the Trump/Russia probe. Oh, and he has refused to play along with House Democrats and their political games. If that’s “sliming” the Justice Department, then the ---- agency should have been slimed a long time ago.

It is a sad joke that Comey, of all people, would talk about anyone else ruining the reputation of the Justice Department and the FBI. Under his leadership, he managed to make both parties irate with his terrible discernment and high-and-mighty decision making. He was one of the chief architects of the Trump/Russia probe, which has now been conclusively proven to be the witch hunt that President Trump always said it was.

“You sound scared…and given your role you probably should,” tweeted the president’s son, Don Jr., in response to Comey’s remarks.

Exactly. Comey knows exactly what Barr’s investigations will find, and he is eager to get out in front of what will doubtlessly be damning conclusions about his role as FBI director. The grand myth of Saint James the Pious – believed only by Comey himself – is going to come crashing down in spectacular fashion. It is not out of the realm of possibility that he could face serious consequences – up to and including prison time – for his role in this fiasco.

Knowing all that, he’s taking a page out of Trump’s book. He’s going to attack the messenger in the hopes that the message itself will be lost. The only difference is that Trump actually was innocent of the charges being levied against him. The same, sadly, may not be true for Comey.

They all do. I want to see the the 3 letter agency heads roll. Lynch I hope goes down in all of this. She needs to pay for her corruption when she met with Bill on the tarmac.

I think Comey is scared. And he should be. His hands are not clean at all.

This is another in a LONG line of heads that will roll. Like a string of dominoes.
That, sadly, I think will fall JUST short of Hilary, and Barack.
