Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Why not in HI?

Their representatives votes against the wall while Obama and company have been on a mission to turn TX blue. Why release them there?

Why not? Because the social support services here can't even handle the current load of folks. And the high cost of living is driving a net population reduction in the state. HI had a bad experience with citizens from Fed. States of Micronesia (FSM) and Rep of Marshall Is. (RMI) swamping shelters and medical aid programs. FSM & RMI nationals are granted access to the US for travel & work as part of a Compact Of Free Association. It's a US federal responsibility, but the federal gov't won't reimburse the state for services rendered.
Then there's the travel cost...

I say find the most affluent community in the north east and send them there. We all know they have the wealth to take them in, and not a single person there is a bigot.

For some immigrants that are rejected asylum at the U.S. southern border, is a guaranteed death sentence for them.

how so? That so much hogwash. They don't meet the asylum rules and they aren't doing it legally. Under UN rules, they're required to go to the country next door and claim it. They're not to choose for themselves which country they get to claim it in. We can't afford any more freeloaders in our country. The Democrats are all that we can handle.
