R.I.P. President Bush.
I would say yes it will be more difficult for Trump going forward. I think the man is very capable but his communications skills fail. He won the presidency in 2016 and just 2 years later his influence didn't keep the house majority. I see that as not so much as a democratic strength but more disdain for Trump by many of the American voters. IMO he has 2 years to gain his base back again and grow it for 2020. I hope he succeeds and he won't have Sarah Sanders to pick up the pieces going forward.

It will be more difficult for President Trump the rest of his first term in office. Losing the House is going to slow things down for sure. However, I don't see that Trump has lost his core base. Hopefully his base can be expanded. Not compromised, but expanded.
One of the best things that could happen is that more moderate DEM's will see the profound ignorance and deceit of the Leftist Democrap Party and come to be conservatives!
I know it might be wishful thinking, but with newcomers like O'Rourke and Ocasio-Cortez, along with the reigning old time idiots of the party, I can't see anyone with any resemblance of a brain, not eventually coming to the conclusion that the DEM Party has become the Socialist Nut Party!

Excellent point. Ignore where the facts came from and try to taint the whole process by killing the messenger. A tactic favored by despots everywhere. Or put another way, I don't like these facts. I'm going to say they're false but never really address the core message that the Dems are involved in this up to their eyeballs.

I am not sure about that. A little bit of brashness goes a long way. I don't think it bothered all that many people in the beginning since it seemed like that was his thing and he was winning. As time goes on it appears to be wearing on many since it is constant and actually appears to be ratcheting up. I still like what he is doing but think he needs some help with his speaking out especially when he goes off script which seems like every day. One thing that bothers me relating to all this is his position on a person changes 180 degrees in a very short time frame. One day he is praising someone saying they are a great person and confidant to the president and the next week they are dog dung and "not very smart people". With some he has flipped back and forth a couple of times. That just doesn't appear normal behavior to me.

One would have thought the Kavanaugh hearings would have proven that out but just a few weeks after that fiasco, which most thought the Dems made a huge mistake, they ended up with a more favorable mid term than was predicted. I was pretty surprised they took the house so easily. IMO if Trump had kept his yap shut things might have turned out better. It seems like every time he makes a controversial statement or attack on someone another member of his own party pulls back and distances himself from that subject. Trump seems to gravitate towards press conferences whether scheduled or impromptu. The spur of the moment times are when he tends to get off the rails.

Despite the deliberate falsehoods spewed out by President Trump, Fox News and the rest of the pro-Trump media....Mueller's special counsel has learned from Trump's legal team "admitted that the president, not his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., drafted a misleading statement about a Trump Tower meeting in 2016 between a Kremlin-tied lawyer and campaign officials. That statement could figure in the special counsel's scrutiny of whether the president obstructed justice."

Look like it's time for Mueller to subpoena the president to testify...

what are you talking about? You don't even know the facts around that Tower meeting which for one wasn't illegal for them to meet. The fact remains, all three folks the lawyer, the Russian dude and the interpreter were all tied to Hilary Clinton. How does that happen?
