Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

As a side note. All of the players involved in the GLB-1999, and the whole Travelers/Citi caper. have come and stated they thought in the long run it was a mistake.

Do ya think?
It's been a few years, but do remember having a bit of dialog with FM about G/S in the past... If I remember right, he did make a good case for at least parts of it to be changed... To be clear, that's not a quote from FM, just a bit of remembrance from me

As for the CFMA... Well...

Nor will you. Here's a tip, the guy is a joke and is well known on the forum as someone who has a problem with honesty. He has been caught in a number of blatant lies. That is why I put him on the list. Some people just aren't worth the irritation of dealing with and should be simply ignored.

Nope you haven't and you won't either! I'm not even sure he is a real person! I am beginning to think that he is a bot or some other type of computer progaram! At the very least he's paid to be here as a political hack of Soros or another leftist political group! Never has made much sense, and lately has become more of a incoherent rant!

Hope you enjoy it... If you like to read, IMHO this is a pretty good book about the lead up to the crash... It's a non-partisan forensic break down of the crash going back to the CRA(Community Reinvestment Act of 1977) Tho I have to admit my own partiality towards the book... Co-Author McClean grew up about 45 miles from my home... The book goes more in depth on Brooksly Born, the Committee, as well as many other pieces of the puzzle that led to the crash...

Brooksly pretty much took it on the chin from Rubin, Summers(Two members of "The Committee To Save The World) and the Clinton administration when as head of the CFTC she submitted a short 28 page report merely "suggesting" that there should be an investigation into possibly regulating OTC Derivatives... Rubin/Summers both torched her, and Clinton didn't appoint her to a second term as head of the CFTC... Not long after she was let go, the CFMA was passed, which pretty much assured that there would be no regulations placed on OTC Derivatives...
