The Left is Going All-In!

We have some very interesting and vitally important mid-terms coming up! With the media clearly in the DEM corner, we are hearing two very different stories about how things are going to end up.
My view looks like the left is going all-in, with a last-ditch, desperate effort to re-take Congress! Which will probably be their last chance to get President Trump out of the WH and from getting a second term!
Most of the skewed media reports show the socialist DEM's with a huge lead in spending, new voter registrations and too-close-to call races!
Even here in Texas, Ted Cruz, a sitting Senator and former presidential candidate, is in a very tight race against a newbie-nobody, who has more than twice the campaign money that Cruz has!
No doubt, all this DEM money is coming from a handful of deep-pocket socialist's such as George Soros, among others. All of the propaganda and spending shows just how desperate the left is, and they are hoping that this will discourage Conservatives from going to the polls!
IF, we Conservatives show up in November, it will be a major disaster for the socialist DEM's movement and will keep them from power for the foreseeable future! It's their last shot to beat the buzzer! AND WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Something that has always bugged me is why Soros is allowed to spend so much money in America and everybody is okay with that foreign national trying to influence American elections, often by funding violent groups.

No panic on the side of not electing Trump allies and lackeys. Instead there is enthusiasm! Donations from small donors is way up. https://splinternews.com/trump-is-dr...r-t-1825741014.

Republicans are panicking, and they should.

I'm not predicting a Blue Wave this year, but I do hope it happens.

Maybe I'll just jump on board with the left and get me some of that 'universal income.'
Working is overrated.

I think this one is going to be close but I still believe the GOP will hold onto both houses of congress. In the end it comes down to the economy and I just don't agree that the majority of the nation is an unhinged and the DEMs/LIBs think we are.

I agree. They'll win some seats back but they keep letting the cat out of the bag with their socialist candidates who propose endless increasing spending with no way to pay for it.

Bear in mind you can never trust the numbers bruited about by the news media. Why do I say this? Because time after time after time the news media promulgates polls with Democrat candidates leading Republican candidates by 5% . . . and then the Republican wins. I do not know how the election will turn out, but be mindful there is almost always a 5% skew in any numbers reported by the news media, and it always skews in one direction -- it ain't just the margin of error.

One thing I would comment upon. I get the impression the Democrats want to impeach Trump and possibly remove him from office if they obtain a majority. Of course, it does not require a party majority in congress to impeach a president, you just need a majority of votes. I wonder what the impeachment charge is that they propose to make against Trump? What impeachable offense has Trump committed. Let me cut to the chase. The Democrats are threatening to make-up fake charges and oust a sitting president solely on partisan grounds. That, my friends, is a very dangerous precedent, a very dangerous state of mind. It preserves the appearance of a constitutional government while delivering only a sham of a constitutional government.

The charge will be he isn't Hillary!

Remember one thing folks, a DEM winning a DEM seat will not change the control of congress. DEMs have to win seats held by the GOP in order to change it. If the DEMs lose a seat they have to take 2 to cover it for a change to happen. The DEMs are defending a lot more seats that the GOP is as long as the GOP holds their seats and takes 1 or 2 from the DEMs, nothing changes.

Good points. Just to clarify, with reference to the "DEMs are defending a lot more seats than the GOP" -- this applies to Senate seats. ALL the house seats are up for election, as terms in the house of representatives are 2 year terms. And the Senate, of course, is key to Supreme Court nominees. I think it may be the House that BRINGs impeachment charges and the Senate that HEARs and VOTEs on the impeachment charges. But I haven't read the constitution in more than 40 years, to my shame.
