Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

There would still be school shootings!!!!!!
100% agree. And if somehow they were able to get rid of all guns then there would just be another tool used to commit the crimes. It is the mentally deficient people who are doing the killing not the guns. Look at places in Europe where civilian gun ownership is very limited. They use vehicles, bombs and knives very frequently in mass carnage at public places. Hardening the schools is the only way to change what is going on now. Unfortunately each time it happens in a school it lights the fuse in some mentally ill student somewhere for a copycat action.

I agree, it's a mental issue, fueled by society's lack of discipline and lessening of basic human values and integrity. I also agree that school security should be hardened, but then they will move on to a softer target!
CI is also right about the use of vehicles, bombs and knives, among other tools of murder! Anyone that doesn't know by now that one person with a gun, (even a fully automatic gun,) IS NOT the most efficient method of mass murder, must have fallen off of a turnip truck recently!
