Default Who's Running for President and Who Do You Support?

It's a crowded Presidential candidate field before the primaries but that gives each of us a lot of choices. All Democrat and Republican candidates are listed below in alphabetical order according to a NY Times article from 3 days ago (see link below).

I know we tend to post criticism of many candidates and all pols but for the sake of variety, what do you LIKE about each or any of these candidates? What position, past experience, previous political stance, vote, etc. do you like about them?

2nd question. Non-binding as things can change but at this point in time, which candidate do you think you would vote for in a primary (as opposed to the general election which could obviously be different).

Everybody has their opinion(s) but sometimes members bring up stuff that some of us forgot, didn't know or didn't see in the same useful context. It'll be interesting to see everybody's thoughts on who they like and support and why.

After listening to Bernie for several years, he really seems to be honest in his beleif about the income gap and the problems that concern the middle class. He also doesn't seem fazed to speak up and give the numbers that prove his case on all issues. I really don't think he is hideing a real agenda like the Republican candidates. And we all know their agenda. $

Just focusing on who you like and why. What issues do you think he has proven and with what numbers? Also, do you see yourself voting for Bernie in the primary?

I could go for Cruz or Rubio, I like Christie because he tells it like it is and does wat he says he will do, but the Media had a contract on him before he even threw his hat in the righ because of what I just said about him and I want someone who can and will beat whatever lolife socialist miscreant the Democrats run.

Ted Cruz, I'm all in with my wallet and time.

He is the only candidate that believes 100% in liberty and the American people. He walks the walk and has the track record to prove it and his integrity. Throughout these next several months, I will be continually posting updates and information regarding Cruz. Unless you do your extra effort, you will never know what anyone other than Hilary (or who bumps her off, it will happen soon. Bernie won't be the one. He is just a pest.) . Jeb or Trump (only because the media believes he is hurting the R ticket).

Ted Cruz will win the nomination. He not only connects with the voters because he actually takes time listening to them. I recommend reading his new book.

Kind of fond of Trump, but he needs to get more specific about a platform. Illegal immigration is not our only problem, nor is John McCain.

I guess if the primary were tomorrow, Jindal would be the guy, He has been a successful governor for two terms in Louisiana, has administrative experience during the Bush presidency. He has cut taxes and boosted business in his state. He has cut Common Core out of Louisiana. He's anti-abortion and supports the right of religious objections to same-sex marriage. He is pro-Israel and has suggested bombing Iran if they acquire nuclear weapons.

He is also solidly for the second amendment.

He wants to secure our borders and favors a process that would allow those here illegally now to eventually qualify to apply for citizenship. While some might object to this proposal, I believe it acknowledges the impossibility of finding all those illegals and deporting them.

Jindal comes across as an honest guy who actually means what he says.

If you want to get rid of a Democrat President, you can't back losers, Trump and Jinal are losers and Trump is a big mouthed idiot that is an embarrasment to the Republican party and would assure a democrat victory. I find it hard to believe anyone with a PHD would vote for a tool like Trump, perhaps you should go your own way instead of the "we" like. It is one thing to like what someone says and another to believe the rantings of a loudmouth can get him elected President.
