Republicans Take Back Senate!!!

Now let's just hope the Republicans know what to do with a mandate.

Last night representatives of the Republican party took control of the Senate and maintained control of the house. With the Republicans in charge of the Legislative Branch and the Democrats still in control of the Executive Branch, there is no longer the ability to blame each other for the lack of action.
If no bills come out of congress headed to the POTUS for signature, it will clearly be the fault of the Republican party. If the POTUS vetoes a bill, it is clearly the fault of the Democratic party. The party that fails to act appropriately will clearly be the one that loses in the next election.
This does not give us total transparency in government, but it does a lot to lessen the opacity. Now it is up to the legal voters in America to pay attention for the next two years and hold elected officials responsible for their actions or lack thereof.

While congress will not be able to undo Bobo care, they will be able to challenge many of his illegal executive orders and perhaps get rid of them, they also can defund Bobo care by not budgeting any money for it.

undortunately this isn't entirely true. The democrats know how to use their minority status very effectively to block anything from being accomplished in the Senate. If you're expecting decent legislation to come out of there, don't hold your breath. Harry is more powerful in the minority position. What the republicans need to do but unfortunately already took it off the table, is to use the power of the purse.
I foresee a number of interesting things happening. How about congress actually voting on an approving a budget for a change?

I am glad to see the Senate get out of the DEM's hands. But it remains to be seen what the Repubs do with it. They need to be very proactive and start putting things on Obozo's desk as soon as they can. Make Obozo man up and do his job. They also need to be poised to slap him down on amnesty and any other idiotic executive action he tries to take. But, it has to be pointed out that Reid and the rest of the Clueless Crew that just got beat don't actually leave their seats until Jan. They can do a lot of damage in that time and I fully expect them to try and do so. DEMs are basically spoiled children and as such we can expect some tantrums!
On a side note, the huge gains in Repub governors is also critical. As Tip O'Neill used to say "All Politics Is Local". Having Repub governors will help shape a nationwide policy especially when many of this new Repub governors are in places like MA.
