Default Prominent Republicans Support "Gay Rights"

Former US senators Allen Simpson and Nancy Landon Kassebaum have signed friend of the court briefs opposing the OK and UT laws banning gay marriage.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A group of Republicans has come out in support of legalizing gay marriage in Utah and Oklahoma, arguing that allowing same-sex unions is consistent with the Western conservative values of freedom and liberty once championed by Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater.

A group that includes former Sen. Alan Simpson of Wyoming and former Sen. Nancy Kassebaum of Kansas plans to file a friend of the court brief Tuesday to a federal appeals court in Denver that is reviewing same-sex marriage bans in Utah and Oklahoma, said Denver attorney Sean Gallagher, whose firm wrote the 30-page argument.

The full list of current and former Republican lawmakers signing the brief won't be available until it's officially sent to the court later Tuesday, but Gallagher said many prominent Republicans are re-examining their stance on gay marriage.

it is consistent with it's consuming nature. The story in The Book has it one man in an entire civilization was the lone hold out against homosexuality even offering his daughters, they wanted nothing to do with women.

People need to be advised. Women are weaker, that's a fact. What happens when the stronger no longer needs the weaker for what the weaker has to offer? As more and more people in positions of power become more and more sexually deviant, more and more deviance will become accepted and not just sex, all vices will. Drugs already are.

The promises of "Pleasure Island" abound for all who refuse to listen to their conscience. The morning after will prove what kind of ass the people were for believing the lie. Be very thankful for our Savior who will give us life in spite of ourselves.

And Republicans were supposed to be the "moral choice". It seems that they can kick the fundamentalists to the curb when they see a sea change. Maybe they think that there are more gay votes then religious right votes.

You really said that,Ha! Well folks right there is why there is a Democratic party thriving in this country...ask him to take a bow. It is also why, God help us all, there will probably be another Democrat in office for the next go around. BTW to answer your question:

What happens when the stronger no longer needs the weaker for what the weaker has to offer?
They are born lesbians, ole Mom nature stepping in. So you may ask then explain homosexuals. That's easy, men relieving their own carpal tunnel problems

Yep! As the Republicans try to win over some populists and extend the "Olive Branch". "They" will falter. Never ever try win over a liberal by agreeing with them. They will stick you in the back every time.
Even a liberal will stick another liberal in the back. Point? Obama and Putin..
These Politians are just caving to pressure of the main stream.

What does ole mom nature stepping in have to do with being born a lesbian? And what does relieving carpal tunnel syndrome have to with being born gay? You have sabotaged your idea of being born homosexual twice in one post.
