Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

We already have a trained workforce to protect our schools

Given the high unemployment rate among returning veterans, this is an excellent idea.
Of course, there are the few that still hold out that only they are important enough for armed security.
The rest of us rabble can suffer the consequences of their inaction.

Yup, we still have to deal with them.

David Gregory needs to cite evidence of shootings at places where guards are allowed to be armed. I have yet to hear of any. In all shootings that I have heard of, the shooter almost immediately commits suicide, after being confronted by armed resistance.

Gregory is a duplicitous coward, who, by his own actions. Has decreed that he is above the fray, and should be left to decide the fates of all others. As he is so much more superior.

Please explain how you think the Columbine incident makes the idea of armed guards or police at a school a bad idea? From what I've read, it would appear that the police officer on Columbine's campus engaged the suspects and likely prevented them from killing even more people.

Columbine High School didn't have armed guards on the premises. In fact it was a rather excellant example of how poor an idea the AWB was and is. The Clintoon ban was enacted in 1994, Columbine was in 1999.

When will the Dims understand that this law will not limit these kinds of events.
