Apples and footballs. Our soldiers deserve respect. This piece of garbage deserves a lot worse than anything we can do to a dead body. He's worried about retribution? Like killing the guy wasn't enough to fire up the extremeists that worshipped him?

We are a civilized peope. We don't descend to the same sort of barbaric, primitive, animalistic behavior that they do. Osama bin Laden is dead. We executed him. It took a while, but it's a lesson to the next guy who decides to try and fill his shoes.

Those that hate us now, hated us beforehand, and will hate us later.
I'm not saying parade the dead body around, I'm not willing to give a known murderer any un-due respect like Obama seems to have thought was necessary.
Treating him like any other criminal, or homicide victim, would not have been disrespectful in any manner. It's the way we deal with death at times in this nation.
Besides that, we have shown the carnage of war on the major news networks via photos at times since September 11th, so why not show the photos of the dead man who orchestrated the attack?
