Default Jesse Ventura sues TSA

The lawsuit, which also names Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and TSA Administrator John Pistole as defendants, argues the searches are "unwarranted and unreasonable intrusions on Governor Ventura's personal privacy and dignity .
The lawsuit said the pat-down "exposed him to humiliation and degradation through unwanted touching, gripping and rubbing of the intimate areas of his body."
Maybe Jesse "The Body" has a case?

There's a lot wrong with the searches. But this suit finally brings up a constitutional issue ... that of the reasonableness of the search (4th amendment -- search and seizure). I hope it actually goes somewhere.

If it were brought by "former Governor Jesse Ventura" I think it might. But since the plaintiff is "host of Conspiracy Theory Jesse Ventura," it might not be taken too seriously.

The problem faced is "unreasonable". Define that in a definitive way. I hate the harassment more than anyone on this board since I have to go thru airport security several times a week. However, we travelers know was to avoid this a stuff just thru experience.

Yes but it also says that in order to be searched a warrant must first be issued after probable cause has been established under oath and it must be described the place to be searched and items to be seized.

I don't think that simply boarding an air plane gives probable cause and certainly no one testified under oath.
