I guess G.M. and the Obama administration thinks we are all stupid. Have any of you seen the G.M. commercial. Makes me want to puke. So, are we suppose to be happy that G.M. took part of the 49 billion we gave them, and gave us back 6.7 billion and pat themselves on the back for that. Here is a good article about it for Will.
Don't worry, Government Motors will do as the Healthcare bill will. Government Motors will not be held to the same standards and regulations as Ford and the other companies ,which could lead to the collapse of their industry, leaving Government Motors free to sell us what they think we need. The reason I see it this way is due to the simple fact that Government Motors is not selling off their 60+ shares held by Obama. If Obama really wanted the company to get back on its feet and not be ran by government, he would insist on selling the stock to pay back the $43 billion of tax dollars they still have. Remember Obama saying, “ I do not want to be in the Auto industry”. Funny how he is all fine with keeping the business.

What cracked me up about that commercial was when Whitaker said that he could respect the rest of the country for not wanting to bail GM out. You still took the money though, didn't you? In my book they're no better than Chrysler, and quite frankly I have zero respect for either company.

Thank you for this post.... I read an article with the same type of headline in a St. Louis newspaper. What about these newspapers? It wasn't until the 3rd paragraph before you were told anything about the REST of the 6.7... talk about mis-information
