Bloomberg said he was "furious" that the city's police department and someone else in his administration were notified last week of "a flyby for a photo op" but did not tell him beforehand.
Louis Caldera, director of the White House Military Office, acknowledged approving the mission, which he said clearly "created confusion and disruption" even though "federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities. … I apologize and take responsibility for any distress that flight caused," he said.

Kinda looks to me like they notified the state and the city they were going to do it well in advance and someone dropped the ball relaying the information, hows that the White Houses fault?

What he hell did they think would happen?
Do you think that everyone in NYC would have been notified even if the mayor were notified?
What if they had inadvertantly killed people as they were rushing out of buildings trying to get out of their buldingalive instead of beingburned to death in a building set a blaze by burning jet fuel?
Or whatif people in cars were to run over pedestriansas they were racing to get as far away from the "crashing jet" as they could?
