What is my party. I never said I am a Democrat. I do not have a political affiliation. I will vote for whoever I believe will do the best job based on all the issues, not just gun control.

I understand what everyone is saying...Republicans do not think the Democrats can help the economy and Democrats do not think the Republicans can help the economy.
Like I said, I do not know if Obama will help the economy but in my OPINION he is better.
I already know what McBushCain is like and it apparently does not work. In my life time there has been 3 Republican Presidents and 2 Democrats. Since the first democrat took office the year I was bornI cannot say I know much about the economy at that time. What I do know is that the US economy was at its best when Clinton was in office and at its worst when Bush(either one)is/was in office. It seems to me that the Democats are more for the middle class which is what I am(barely these days). So I would like to give them another chance. If it does not work and in the future I believe a Republican will do a better job than I will vote for them at that time.

Some of you do not get you mean!! Here we are fighting the antis quite commonly to protect our right to hunt and all the dems up here know enough to leave that area alone.. That would be no different than your elected officals.. Every state elects thier officals to office to represent them, if they do not what do you do vote them back in? I do not think so and that is why they tend to leave this area alone.
You may not like the fact that the dems are for the middle class workers and not the big dollar guys that are trying to find new ways of ripping off the workers.. Yes there will be hunting camps up here as long as there is woods to hunt in! With all the conservation going on up here there will be woods left here for a long time to come.
Our current anti fight is about the Canadian Lyxn and them trying to nail the trappers on it. So far the state has been trying to push it away but the antis still want a court battle over it.. We are still waiting on this one as a very few were caught last year and all were released back into the wild. So this state is to big for you to contemplate hey? It's a democratic state by nature and we still hunt, fish, and in some cases trap! So yes we can and will survive a democratic president as well.. We need more jobs to the economy going again and we need some one who will look after the middle class as well as the lower class.. McSame will not do thatand without jobs no one will have to worry about going hunting very much.. Of coarse unless they are in the rich class like yourself..

Yeah, I suppose it has. You can be both a hunter and a Democrat IF, but only if you don't particularly give a rat's behind about the 2nd Amendment...

Phil, as you can see, all the Republican supporters on this forum only seem to care about 1 issue and that is the 2nd amendmant. I agree with you 100% that there will always be hunting(with guns!)in the US as long as we can afford to do it. The economyis the issue that needs to be addressed the most. But since this is a hunting forum all everyone wants to talk about is the 2nd amendmant...although ipscshooter says"2nd Amendment has NOTHING whatsoever to do with hunting."

It was implied, not specific.

Why is it that dems keep simplifying this subject as if to ignore the underlying statement that their vote is saying? This thread is about the 2nd Amendment, NOT your ability to hunt. This thread is about voting a gun-hating party into power and still expect to hold onto rights.

Not all in the party are in fact as you say are gun haters.. That's a fact my friend so exactly what is he going to do.. Not all in the republican party are gun lovers either so again what are you exactly trying to say.. There will be people hunting and fishing and enjoying the great out doors as long as they can afford to do it.. I am lucky that way as it is almost in my back yard and very little distance to travel to..
