And so topples another domino
Vermont , Connecticut , Taxachusetts , and now Kookifornia . The dominoes are toppling faster and faster . How did such a small minority of the population , and easily the most despised , get so much power ?

I have no problem with them getting a common law type arrangement, but to call it marriage kinda takes away from what my wife and I hold dear in the meaning.
Now that is what scares me. It scares the crap out of me thinking we will bend over so far in the name of P.C. that we will end up suffocating from having our heads stuck so far up our butts.

So what's worse these people getting married or over 50% of marrige ending up in divorce?

Oh, I almost forgot. I agree with the 50% divorce being appauling. I was not assuming these civil unions have less cement to them than traditional marriage (we all know how bad the divorce rate is).

I agree with Burnie, let them have thier common law deal, but do not call it Marriage, Marriage is a Holy institution and as a result it is between a man and a woman.
