Turkey comes next in Ontario

Everywhere I go north of Toronto I see wild turkeys, its great.
The farm south of Orillia grew soy-beans this year and the birds are everywhere digging thru the snow for the leftovers, I just hope their still there come May.
How are the flocks in the s/w and out east?

It had to be a great hatch last spring because there`s tons of birds around. As a side note I`ve noticed that there`s alot of jakes and not many longbeards which means 2 years ago the hatch was not good but we noticed that last spring when there wasn`t many jakes around. If we get a good hatch this year the numbers will explode.

We twice saw turkeys and also several tracks in the snow in Huntsville area during the deer hunt last fall. Wonder if they'll survive the winter that far north?? gg.
