All I know is that I've had alot of help from some very nice people from the boards here and graybeard, and I know over the internet there are alot of mishaps, but I have had a great responce and I think next year I will have a very great experience there and make some new friends. Thanks again for replying gentlemen and have great holidays.

RE: Where to hunt in saskatchewan?

I live in Alberta but hunted deer in Sask. some years back. I got a number of "county "maps that show landowners names on the land they own. I wrote a few and they gave me permission by mail.

Then I took a long weekend trip(in August) with my wife to scout and buy licences.

I was back with a buddy in Dec, and we saw a number of fair to good bucks and one monster. I shot a fat doe the last day we were there and my buddy missed the Monster.

If you can get some recent air photos of the area you intend to hunt you can save some scouting time by planning your first attempts using the air photos.

Good luck.

Robin
