Alberta Varminting

What camo works best in the prairies of Alberta? Mil-spec camo not the mossy oak and real tree kind.

It all depends on where you go. More often than not, I sit under trees or along old fence lines. I wear a Parka in "Trail Cover", it is available at Canadian Tire. For pants, I wear Realtree colours. Belive it or not, the two contrsting colours really help break you up. I wear this, even when theres snow on the ground. A testimant to it's effectiveness, I've had a coyote walk right past me and stop 10 yards in front of me. As he wen't past, I just about grabbed his tail. If you are adiment on military patterns, the desert camo would probably work best most of the time, with the marine grey as a winter pattern.

I use a variety depending on the terrain I'll be hunting. I have mossy oak break-up, sneaky leaf, a tree bark style, white camo for winter and a full orange camo coveralls for heavily hunted areas during rifle season. Most anything works out here. JDinAB
