Feb. geese in Ontario

Canada Goose opened today for another week in Ontario.
Is anyone getting out there? I don't see much flying when I'm on the roads, how about everyone else. I normally hunt marsh but I'd appreciate an activity report from anyone near Barrie/Orillia, let me know if its worth sittin in a friends field next saturday.

its opening? im in peterborough ontario and bought a license for them for the first time back in the falll and only got out once, will it be opened here next week? or is it done today

Canada geese are open in the southern district of Ontario from Feb 21 - Feb 28, they were open for a week in January too.
Migratory birds are regulated by the Federal Gov, not the MNR, here a link to the regs:
