Our hunt starts Nov. 30. We will arrive the night of Nov. 29 if people are filled up and are leaving. If not we wil stay at the Truck Stop at km 381 or in Radisson.

I have a friend that wants to bring a bow. Is there any thing to know about when crossing the border? we will be up the week of nov. 26-29

Bringing a Bow across won't be a problem. Let the customs guy know what you have. They were very helpful and polite last year.

The Bou are moving south...yippee. I am on the first Hunt (Nov 15) again this year. Getting excited.

Hi I am from New Hampshire we are a party of 4 going up bou hunting first time for all of us going to Northern Caribou Adv D Aslin we are going dec 2nd to the 5th is this considered a good week we have hunted whitetails all over been to Anticosti a couple of times but after reading about hunting N Qubec decided to try something really different this site has been a great help in our planning and what we should bring thanks to all who contribute information would like some information as to the best routes to take from N.H. we are allowing 3 days for travel one night on the road the 2nd night in Matagami and we are staying in their bunkhouse the night before our hunt begins we figure about 24 hours driving time takeing 2 trucks ane towing snowmobile and trailerdoes this sound like a good plan thanks for any advice Camper Len

We leave from Southern NH. First night Valdor, 2nd night K381. We make the lodge he next day leaving K381 before 2am.

Tough run but worth the extra 1/2 day of hunt. Weather is the variable.

Hi all question I registered my rifle 2 years ago when I went to Anticosti am I corect that the paper they gave me at the border is still ok or will I have to do it again when I go up in december Len
