Quebec deer hunting on public land
 

About two years ago I read an artical on the internet about public land deer hunts in Quebec. This Guy was saying you could go to Quebec lease a cabin and so many acers for a week and hunt deer The area was not that far north of ottawa. I have been unable to find this artical, but I am intrested in hunting Quebec or easten Ontario for deer. If any of you might know where this hunting is or a similar place I would be very happy to hear about it. I have this same message posted on Deer Hunting, with the names of some parks that I think might be where this artical took place.

I am resident of Quebec,it is true that some area are low on deers but most of the lower part of the province is rich in deers.Behind my house there is a 30 acres of wood a cropfield.THere is about 50 to sixty deers.I'm the only one with my sons hunting that land for over 10 years.We inplanted QDM and we kill one buck only per season.I shot a 7 pointer 163# dressed.and there is a lot of bigger one ,even a thelve pointer phantom.I know where it bed in .It is under 3 small trees in the middle of a big field.One day he'll make a mistake and I'll be there.
