Question about hunting in Newfoundland?
 
I know I guy who has a hunt sceduled for caribou and moose in Newfounland in like 6 months. He told me that mad cow or something has came up there and now the u.s. is not allowing the meat back into the country. Is there any way around this? Thanks for the help-Sam

thenuge 15; there was one case of mad cow and it was on the other side of the continent. CWD outbreaks are mainly in the US but some cases have shown up in Alberta and Saskatchewan. As silly as it sounds live animals can cross the border if they want to but if you shoot it on the Canadian side I' m hearing that you can' t transport rumnants over the border. You should check with the US government and please put in a few words to get the bans lifted.

Yes you are correct that we had a mad cow, all this hardship because of ONE cow. Its more political than anything else.

We just don;t hide the test results as good as the States
