Ontario Hunting

If you're hunting in Ontario this fall, you might find this handy:

www.nomap.ca

It shows backroads, trails, places to stay, etc.

Though a nice map, I wouldn't rely on it for trails and such. A lot of the trails it shows were from logging 40-50 years ago and are grown back up and non-existant.

You're right. That map, though nice is so far out of date, some of those trails now are covered by 14" wide pine trees, 40' tall. My suggestion would be, where ever you're hunting in Ontario or fishing, you contact the local fish and game association in that area for an up to date map book. I know here in my area we sell a map book that is up to date with all the trails and logging roads etc. since April 2007. Most areas should have a comparable book for sale.
