Kenora Whitetails

I am off to Kenora for some deer hunting in a few weeks (Oct.27-Nov. 3). Is this shaping up to be a good season? How is hunting pressure? Is it worth hunting the islands? I am doing more of a DIY hunt but can find little hunting info on the area.

Im headed up there too on Oct 25. This is my first year going. I've heard a little about the islands but was wondering if you had any info on the area. thx, tony

Less than 3 weeks to go and I'm pumped. I know the potential in the area is great and when I get back things will be in full swing for my Midwest spots.
