Happy New Year; but I admit I wimped out. I went on the internet Christmas day when everyone was busy and registered. I guess it's the Canadian thing to do; bitch about it and then give in to the government. All I know is that it still doesn't sit well with me that I had to register a 60 year old, single shot, bolt action .22 rifle.

Have a good year to you all. - Dan.O How did you get on line. I've been trying since boxing day to yesterday and could get through. Didn't happen. What a joke. Boy are they disorganized...I had purchased a rifle before Christmas and just received a letter from them stating that I had purchased a rifle. Just one thing. It's the wrong serial number. It's a long story but hopefully the information will be corrected soon. I hope before hunting season.

Have a safe and Happy New Year to all our friends and family. It's the gov. fault that alot of Canadians are now criminals. I wonder how ALL the Canadians who have given their lives would feel about what is happening to this very same country that they defended in the name of FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY. Peace be with you all.

trailer; I figured that everyone would be sitting down for Christmas dinner so I logged in. It was slow, and I had to change all my machine settings, but I unfortunately got through.

I am one of the freekin' criminals the liberals created over night. Tryed for several days to bend over online but no luck getting it done. Have a happy new year to you all.

Duffy; actually, since the post office hasn't been open since the 31st, all you have to do is get a letter saying that your going to register in the mail box before tomorrow morning. If you really want to.

Happy New Year guys!! Hope everyone has a good and successful 2003.
I cracked to. I sent my forms in the mail Christmas eve. They should have got there by now. I guess it really doesn't matter. By sending them in I am showing that I intend to register. I hope they get buried under a huge pile of forms. That letter thing is just a huge cop out by the government. What a bunch of morons.
Yeah, I wonder how many Canadiens suddenly became criminals. Heh, now Molson's can do a new "I AM" promotion.

I AM........A CRIMINAL!!

Hopefully it will self destruct before then. It was politically expedient crap. One of the best arguments against it was on the radio today. Take the case that the gun regristry MAY save 10 or 20 lives a year. The only way it saves lives is gun removal during domestic disputes. Criminals haven't registered their weapons yet. If the same billion dollars was split between the police and health care the money would have saved thousands of lives each year. It was politically expedient to go after gun owners.

I cracked too, I however had no problems getting on line-end of nov. Here's the real kicker i recvd. the reg. cards on Dec. 27 for 10 out of 14 sent in. however i still haven't seen the other 4, just a letter saying it is being processed and due to the large volume a wait of 8-10 weeks maybe possible.

I wasn't going to register, however it was policy renewal time for my house insurance and i asked my agent what the new regs would mean to my insurance if i didn't have all my weapons registered. He found out i would get zip for those unlawful possessions, so I did it for theft or fire reasons, Not b/c i love those flippin LIBS!!!!
