Manitoban all the way. Hunt birds and deer but we don’t have any deer in our province right guys...;)

RE: MANITOBA!
100% manitoban here,, hunt whitetail and waterfowl
|
RE: MANITOBA!
Winnipeg here also.
|
RE: MANITOBA!
I'm from Manitoba. Split my time during the year between Morden and Winnipeg. Whitetail and turkey are my favourite. I wouldn't mind getting out for some upland birds, moose, and small game. Oh so little time!

RE: MANITOBA!
Another Manitoba bred hunter here. I'm so glad that we can go into woods and have more deer than hunters (some places just south of us). If I can shoot it and eat it I will. Do most of my hunting in the interlake. Great for waterfowl to moose. Gotta love this province. Maybe we shouldn't be so possitive....will it lead to too many crowds????

RE: MANITOBA!
haha...got that right man:D....got to love MB.

RE: MANITOBA!
Anyone hunt pigs? Are there huntable populations at all widely?
|
RE: MANITOBA!
There is definitely a problem with wild boars in Manitoba and it’s open season all year round. I have looked into it a little but they seem to be in areas that I don’t hunt. Would just love to get one or two to se how the meat taste...

RE: MANITOBA!

Canadiangoosehunter:
I am thinking about a bear hunt in Manitoba maybe in 2008. I have always wanted to go to Manitoba but I do not know what the black bear population is like. I was thinking of Birch Point Outfitters which is southeast of Manitoba. Do you know anything about this outfitter? What is the bear population like in that part of the province? Lots of bear in Maine but I am looking for a change. shotgunbilly, from MOOSE COUNTRY ,MAINE USA |
RE: MANITOBA!
I meant to say southeast of Winnipeg.

RE: MANITOBA!
I got a problem with Manitoba as far as their No Non Res Turkey hunting.
I think Ontario should exchange the same towards the others untill changes are made for whats good for the goose is good for the gander. Sure would have been nice to Complete a Canadian slam... |
RE: MANITOBA!
I got a problem with Ontario license system.
In Manitoba we have three categories for hunting license. Some one who wishes to by a license for hunting in Manitoba is either a resident,... non-resident ( Canadian citizen ) or... non-resident alien (others) and the prices are adjusted from least to most expensive, being that Canadian citizen will count for something and have a better price then non-resident aliens... Now, if someone would like to by a license to hunt in Ontario, your either a resident of Ontario or non resident, being that Canadians don’t count for diddle squat... Maybe Manitoba should start to follow the same rules as our neighbors to the east and say screw it whether you’re Canadian or not and as long as you’re a resident, that’s all that counts... |
RE: MANITOBA!
were residents on there fishing licences which keeps them very reasonable
|
RE: MANITOBA!
WE barley have any Turkeys here,, so theres not really any point if bringing in tons of hunters
|
RE: MANITOBA!

RE: MANITOBA!
sorry , I don't understand your meaning here.
I've hunted all across North America and the system is all the same anywhere. Its the State or Province that you live to be a Resident, any outsiders are Non Res. I would say Manitoba needs a revamping... ORIGINAL: trailer I got a problem with Ontario license system. In Manitoba we have three categories for hunting license.
